I am currently working on the “Sugar Bouche” chronicles. This is the story of a young woman coming to Canada and becoming an exotic dancer. The story of a carrier from 1980 to 2000. It is also the story of a special era of adult entertainment, a twenty-year history of the strip tease business in Toronto. It chronicles the creative and political changes and growth of the industry in the city struggling to gain the recognition of being “world class”. The story contains nudity, sex, drugs, rock, and roll, murder, hypocrisy, politics and colorful characters and situations encountered during this period. My first idea was a book but now I'm thinking of turning it into a screenplay. I think this story would make a great movie or TV series. This project also has original music which could be suitable for the soundtrack.
Being involved as I am in quite a lot of animal rescue, I often ponder over the mindlessness, heartless cruelty, pain, damage, and destruction that us humans beings exact on our fellow living creatures and animals. It occurred to me the other day, as these very thoughts were flitting through my mind, that in fact, men does not treat his own kind any better than he does the animals and it amazes me, that seeing how much we humans have in common with the animals, we do not find it in our hearts and minds to treat them more kindly because, if we did we might also find it in our hearts and mind to treat ourselves and each other better.
